Welcome to Our Wedding 1-3-2020

When I first met with Janelle, I was so excited to find out we were related. Very distant, but still family is family! How cool is that, to actually get to photograph a bride knowing that you are connected more than just a client and vendor.

Sitting at Panera going through some of the details of the packages we offer, and showcasing some of our photos......we connected immediately!

Janelle was so excited to book us for her wedding day, and we were excited to be a huge part of this to capture each and every moment for her and Kyle!

Over the next several months we stayed in contact and went through details of her day to make sure that everything would line up just right. When you have spent months and months of planning, and all you have left after the day is photographs and your memories, you want everything to be just perfect.

The fortunate part of getting married though, is just that.......the only thing that needs to be perfect is standing there with your future wife and future husband and forgetting that everything else exists in that moment that you become one! All the other details are just things that make us smile! This is one thing I make sure to tell my clients as I think it is so important to not let things get in the way of the true meaning of the day.

The Perfect Details

Janelle started our her day at the Stonewater Salon and Spa where she had her hair and make-up done with her bridesmaids! She made sure to have all of her accessories for me to take pictures of, and this is secretly one of my favorite pictures, because it shows so much in one picture!

Something borrowed is this bracelet that Janelle wore that was her mothers when she got married that was made for her. This was such a sentimental addition to her jewelry that day!

Kyles ring was also a custom addition as they were part of Kyles family and hand made into a ring for him.

That first Look and Portraits

Janelle and Kyle used the Bible Chapel of South Hills as their ceremony site, and this facility is enormous and beautiful!

Janelle and Kyle decided to do a first look and it was amazing! Since it was pouring outside, we decided to do it right in the chapel and have Janelle walk down the aisle to have Kyle turn around and see her and his reaction was priceless!!!

So for a Friday wedding, this was definitely the way to go as Janelle and Kyle were able to get all of the pictures they wanted and spend more time during their reception instead of making their guests wait for pictures in between the ceremony and reception! I think the suspense of just spending just a minute with the two of them was perfect!

We were actually even able to go outside for awhile for portraits also, which was just what we wanted!!

The Ceremony

The Bible Chapel of South Hills was such a beautiful venue and it was decorated so nice for Janelle and Kyle's ceremony!

Let's Party

The Miller party boarded a Tortorice Limouse Limo bus and danced from the Bible Chapel to the Georgetown Centre, where the reception hall looked absolutely amazing with all of the wonderful winter details!!

This beautiful and delicious cake was from Barton's Flower and Bake Shop! It was stunning with the floral arrangement that was also done by them!! The greenery with the girls dresses matched just perfectly!

The DJ Michael had the music pumping from Sound Investment DJ & Uplighting!
